Award-winning removal men
Our removal men are one of the key elements to your move going smoothly, and our men are some of the best in the business. They take pride in their job and are always striving to ensure our customers have the best removal experience possible. Because of this, we like to reward them for going the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.
Each month, we review our customer comments from our Customer Care Survey along with customer reviews left for us online, and emails that clients send to us. We then calculate which of our men received the greatest amount of positive feedback from clients each month and award them with the title of Removal Man of the Month. Each quarter, we then determine who is the overall high-scoring removal man of the quarter. Finally, every year we reward the man who has the highest score for the year with the title of Removal Man of the Year.

Luke has won our Removal Man of the Year award for the second time!
‘I’m so proud to have won this award again, it’s recognition for me but also for what the whole team here do. The competition was so close this year, I only just won it by a couple of points from two of my colleagues, what a result! Next year we’re all going to have to pull out the stops to win !’
Luke is now studying for his LGV Theory test and then we’ll put him through his LGV driving lessons and test as we invest in him and our future company development.

Removal Man of the Year
Craig Marson
Craig joined us in January 2018 and has become an integral team member as one of our senior porter/packers.
Craig likes to complete as many of our long distance moves as possible, this means he’s with his client for 2 to 4 days and is able to build up a relationship with them to make sure he understands what they want out of their move and how to ensure he delivers.
Never happier than when he’s got his power screwdriver in hand dismantling and reassembling furniture, he also loves helping less experienced team members, giving them his time to help show and train them to become better.
Craig has just started driving lessons and hopes to pass this year so that he can further his career with us.

Luke has won our Removal Man of the Year award for the first time! He is regularly one of our top performers on a monthly basis but to win overall has made him extremely proud.
‘I always try to put the customers mind at rest as soon as I can. Clients can sometimes be quite stressed out when we first arrive to start their move but having a good talk with them to understand their concerns and explaining what we are going to do and how we are going to do it, you can see them start to relax. First impressions really make a difference, we try and show in the first hour how good we are, the client can see their move is going well, they can relax and low and behold, we soon get offered a cup of tea!’

Congratulations to Chris, our multiple year winner! This is Chris’s third Removal Man of the Year award, with him also winning in 2019 and 2016. Chris is never happier than when travelling and delivering to all 4 points of the compass around the UK or Europe. He takes great pride in ensuring his customers are well looked after and delighted with everything he has done for them. Chris is a hard task master and demands extremely high standards from everyone that he works with but he also loves spending time with our younger and less experienced team members, passing on his packing and loading skills to the next generation. Thank you Chris for your excellent customer service day in, day out.

Chris Palmer is the 2019 winner of our prestigious Removal Man of The Year customer service award, which is hotly contested by all our staff!
Chris regains the crown that he originally won in 2016. On receiving his award, Chris said ‘I just like to treat people’s furniture and effects as if they were my own, look after them at a stressful time and make sure they are happy with what me and my team have done’.
Owner Mark Herrington is very proud of all his staff but for Chris to win again is fantastic news. ‘Every day Chris badgers me before he leaves the yard wanting to know as much as possible about his client and their move so he’s fully prepared before he even arrives. Chris will not leave their house until everything is put exactly as his client wants it and it’s been checked and rechecked. The time he spends helping and coaching younger members of his team to his standards can only stand us in good stead for years to come’.

How are our appointments carried out
In the current times you might prefer that we don't visit your house in person to carry out a survey. This is fully understandable and we can just as easily undertake the survey by video call, using whatever method you're comfortable with (FaceTime, WhatsApp etc).

Card received via post, along with several others, Britannia were the only company who took it on at such short notice and worked a way round my moving date and their commitments. Couldn't have done more to accommodate me if you'd tried.
